Privacy policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026
This policy explains what personal information the milestone.uno website collects, why, who it is shared with and how to exercise your rights under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). Bookings, memberships and payments happen in the Jalon app, which has its own privacy policy. The French version of this policy prevails.
1. Who we are
The website is run by Les Productions Milestone Ltée / Milestone Productions Ltd. (NEQ 1175656793), doing business as Milestone, 451, rue de l'Église, Verdun (Montréal), Québec H4G 2M6.
Person in charge of the protection of personal information: James Gray, reachable at hello@milestone.uno.
2. What we collect and why
- Contact form: name, email, chosen subject, message and language, to answer you and follow up on your request. We also attach the landing page, the site you came from and the link's campaign parameters (utm), to learn how people find us.
- Newsletter: the email you enter is passed to Jalon's sign-up page, where you pick your topics and give your consent. Every send has a one-click unsubscribe.
- Shop welcome offer (when running): how you heard about Milestone, your email, your phone if you give it and your consent to receive our offers, to send your code and, if you agree, our offers (at most 2 a month).
- Bot check: Cloudflare Turnstile looks at technical browser signals to block automated submissions.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting providers receive your IP address, browser and the pages requested, to serve and protect the site.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
3. Cookies and browser storage
- Essential, no consent needed: your language, your cookie choice, the shop cart and the welcome-offer state are kept in your browser's local storage; where your visit came from is kept for the tab only. None of these are advertising cookies.
- Audience measurement: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies, persistent identifiers or tracking you across sites.
- Advertising, only if you accept: the Meta pixel and the Google Ads tag measure our ads. They only load after you click "Accept" in the banner. You can withdraw consent at any time with the "Cookies" button at the bottom of the screen; their cookies are then deleted.
4. Service providers and transfers outside Québec
Some processing is done by service providers, bound by contract and only for these purposes. Several are outside Québec, mostly in the United States. Before sharing information outside Québec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected there, as Law 25 requires.
- Jalon, Milestone's app: receives and keeps contact-form messages, newsletter and welcome offer sign-ups.
- Cloudflare (United States): hosting and delivery, Turnstile, Web Analytics.
- Kit (United States): newsletter delivery.
- Google (United States): fonts (Google Fonts); Google Ads, with your consent only.
- YouTube (Google): videos embedded on the Projects pages, in privacy-enhanced mode (no cookies until you play a video).
- Meta (United States): advertising pixel, with your consent only.
- Supabase and Unsplash (United States): hosting of some site images; they receive your visit's technical data.
5. Retention and security
We keep messages and sign-ups as long as they serve the purpose they were collected for, then destroy or anonymize them. A newsletter sign-up is removed as soon as you unsubscribe. Traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS) and access to data is limited to the people who need it.
If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the people affected and the Commission d'accès à l'information.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access your information, correct it, delete it, get a copy in a structured technological format, withdraw your consent or ask that we stop disseminating it. Write to hello@milestone.uno; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
The website is not aimed at children under 14; they should not send us information without a parent's consent.
7. Changes
We will post any update on this page with its date. If a change is significant, we will flag it on the site.
